       Jul 18,  2009        The Watermelon Dance - Introductory and Intermediate Shag lessons - followed by

                                              dancing.

        Aug 19, 2009       The Watermelon Dance - Introductory and intermediate West Coast Swing lessons.

                                             - followed by dancing.

                           

        Sep 26, 2008        The Watermelon Dance - Guest Instructor, Anthony DeRosa from NYC. 2  West

                                            Coast Swing workshops followed by the dance.

        Oct 16, 2008          The Watermelon Dance - Guest Instructor, Sam and Lisa West from NC. Shag

                                             workshops followed by the dance.

                                       

        Nov 22, 2008         The Watermelon Dance - introductory and intermediate West Coast Swing lessons,

                                             followed by the dance. 

        Dec 19, 2008  The Watermelon Dance - Annual Holiday Party! We encourage club members

                                             to bring something to share for this one!

                                         Free for club members!! $12 non members.                                                                            

    The Watermelon Dance is the monthly club sponsored dance and is mostly held on the THIRD Saturday

        of each month. Be sure and check the website before heading out.

    All Watermelon Dances are held at:  Haddonfield School of Dance

  Cost of dance:       $8 Del Val Members; $12 non members (unless otherwise advertised)) includes lessons                                               our Smorgasboard Snack Table and beverages  BYOB & Coolers!!

                  

  8:00-8:30pm          your choice of an Introductory lesson for those wanting to learn to dance or an                                                              Intermediate lesson for those who already know how to dance. We teach mostly

                                  Shag and West Coast Swing, but we do occasionally teach other dances styles.

  8:30-midnightSocial dancing. A night of swing - Shag, WCS, Jitterbug, Lindy can all be done here!

  Music format  Our club DJs play a great mix of rhythm and blues, blues, some contemporary and even a

                                  Gospel here and there!

                        Friendly people - Fun dancing - Good music. Free parking - It's a great place to be!
